Running Adventures Episode 3 - The Winter Park Road Race

"We can live lifetimes in a single day
No matter what you do, I love you anyway
You say if you're lost inside; well, I get lonely, too
Even in the worst of times, I give my best to you"

Sheryl Crow in "Lifetimes"

This episode focuses on the Winter Park Road Race, 2 miler and 10K, run on March 24th. My daughter ran the 2 mile race then I ran the 10K. Later we did a training run where my daughter shares her facts about insects including the Bombardier Beetle and certain special types of ants.

I can't wait to hear it! I postponed my longrun today (Saturday) for no specific reason. Now I know why: so I could take your podcast along with me! Good thing I did.

Its Ok..I've been hardly able to get on my own blog so I've been in the same boat. I went out camping this weekend and got some really nice runs in while I was out. I should get a post in tonight on them. I see the new podcast is out and I can't wait to give it a listen.

Listened today to the podcast. I look forward each time to the fun facts your daughter talks about. I also enjoy how we are just invited into your runs. How exciting for you that your daughter shares your passion for running.

How fun it was to hear the sounds of the WP 10K race from the perspective of a runner. I didn't get to hear the excitement of the start since I was near the finish the whole time.

Anyway, keep up the good work and keep those interesting facts coming!
