Busy, Busy, Busy....

I have been quite busy lately so I am late with Episode 8. It will probably be a day or so before I get it out.

I have been spending time catching up with the family and around the house including a date with the hubby, a day at the beach, and acquiring new furniture (resulting in a reorganization of half the house).

Today visited a new running store in town and as a result of a gait analysis on the treadmill traded in my Brooks Addictions for Asics Gel Kayano 13's. It has less support than the Brooks in a much lighter shoe - but just the right support so I pronate correctly. With the orthotics, I don't need as much support as before. Tomorrow morning I take them for their first run!

I had also been toying with other hydrations options and had given Shirley's Camelbak a try - but didn't like the backpack (a bit warm). I picked up the Camelbak Flashflo, a waist pack that holds 45 oz of fluid. That should get me through most of my long runs.

More tomorrow! Run strong my friends!

Hey Chris - I can't believe everything you're packing into your days and will wait patiently for your next episode. Also - well done on The Extra Mile - no wonder you're busy, busy, busy. Lastly - have fun with your new shoes - I always love my first run in new shoes!

Wow! Busy indeed. New furniture, New shoes, New toys (the Camelbak)

You're all set!

I also love the first run in new shoes. Let us know how the Asics work out for you.

Busy indeed or should I say as usual? ;-)

Glad to hear you were able to get fitted with new shoes and also find a new hydration solution. Hope the run goes well today.

Chris,
I had a quick unrelated question. I am trying to set up my own blog and would like to have my running log from buckeyeoutdoors.com added to the site. I can't seem to make that work. I saw that you have it on your blog. If it is not a bother could you give a hand with getting it on there. Thanks,

Kimberly
