In the most recent Disney Marathon newsletter, a picture of the pins (which represent replicas of the medals) was provided. There was much fanfare about new medals this year. The program guide for the race does show the Mickey Medal, but this is the only place I found the new Donald Medal for the half...and the Goofy Medal.
I am looking forward to the bling! I am starting to get excited :-)

One of these days I hope to earn one of those medals myself. Unfortunately, the race is running during the school year, making it difficult for me (a principal) and my wife (a teacher) to get the time off off to travel south. One day though, one day.

That is exciting! I am seriously considering running the 1/2. Sooo tempted. Then again, I prefer the Mickey or Goofy medal, not such a fan of Donald =P
Thanks for the medal preview. Hadn't yet looked at the program, but it adds to the motivation to finish up my training, and earn my first Mickey. Good wishes toward your Goofy plans.
